Brown Street Clock

This clock was erected by Frank Schweeting in front of his jewelry store between 1910 and 1920.

In the late 1930's, Herbert Hosack bought the clock and moved it to its present site at 32 High St.

In 1979, the City of Oxford bought the clock from Herbert and Ruth Hosack for $1,000.
